- Most of the video editor in the world has an explicit save button to save a project. And if you have come to iMovie after using them then you will search for the save button in iMovie.
- But let me tell you, there is no Save button in iMovie as whatever you do in iMovie will get saved automatically. So you don’t have to do anything manually.
- Now if you want to work on some other new project and want to save the current one then just click on the project button in the left top corner and it will ask you to provide the name for the current project, just enter the name and click on Ok. It will return you to the project list. Click on New then Movie to create a new project to work on.
- If you want to go back to the previous project then again click on the project button in the left top corner and you can see all your project list on the page. Just click on the project which you want to work on. That’s all! we learnt how to save an unfinished project in iMovie 🙂
